lab techKnowledge is Power in Your Quest to Manage Your Diabetes

Until better treatments and cures for type 1 and type 2 diabetes are found, it is important to stay informed of the latest in diabetes management and clinical research.

Our UCSF Diabetes Teaching Center has created a powerful educational resource called Diabetes Education Online.   This website mirrors our successful teaching program given to thousands of patients at UCSF over the past 30 years.  On this website, you have access to information that is specific to type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

If you are interested in participating in a clinical trial to support diabetes research, consult our UCSF clinical trials section of our website.  For a full listing of all clinical trials being conducted in diabetes, access the National Institutes of Health’s clinical trials website

To keep abreast of the latest in research and clinical care at UCSF, we encourage you to sign up for our eUpdate electronic newsletter.

We also encourage you to consult these websites on a regular basis.
