Driving Directions to the UCSF Parnassus Campus:

From South Bay

1. Take HIGHWAY 101 NORTH (Bayshore Freeway).
2. Follow the signs for "101 North/Golden Gate Bridge".
3. Stay on left lane & EXIT OCTAVIA BLVD./FELL STREET.
4. Turn LEFT on FELL STREET.
5. Get in the far right lane and turn LEFT on STANYAN STREET.
6. Turn RIGHT on PARNASSUS AVENUE (see Parnassus Map).

From East Bay

1. From I-80 after crossing the Bay Bridge, stay in the second lane from the right.
2. Exit to the RIGHT on "101 NORTH/GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE".
3. Get in the LEFT lane and Exit "OCTAVIA BLVD./FELL STREET."
4. Turn LEFT on FELL STREET.
5. Get in the far RIGHT lane and turn LEFT on STANYAN STREET.
6. Turn RIGHT on PARNASSUS AVENUE (see Parnassus Map).

From the Peninsula

1. Take HIGHWAY 101 NORTH
2. Stay on the left lanes and take the GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE EXIT onto 19TH AVENUE.
3. Proceed in the right lanes and turn RIGHT (east) on JUDAH STREET.
4. Follow JUDAH up the hill to UCSF and JUDAH becomes PARNASSUS at 5TH AVENUE.
5. Continue on PARNASSUS until you see UCSF at the top of the hill (see Parnassus Map)

From North Bay

1. From the Golden Gate Bridge, take the 19TH AVENUE exit (on right 1/4 mile after toll plaza) onto PARK PRESIDIO DRIVE.
2. Stay in the right lanes as you pass through GOLDEN GATE PARK onto 19TH AVENUE (no left turns allowed).
3. Turn RIGHT on KIRKHAM, RIGHT on 20TH AVENUE, and RIGHT (east) on JUDAH.
4. Follow JUDAH up the hill to UCSF and JUDAH becomes PARNASSUS at 5TH AVENUE.
5. Continue on PARNASSUS until you see UCSF at the top of the hill (see Parnassus Map).

Directions to the Diabetes Center's Research Labs:

Once you arrive at the Parnassus Campus, proceed to the main entrance of the MEDICAL SCIENCES BUILDING at 513 PARNASSUS.  Take the elevator to the 11th or 10th Floors.  After exiting the elevator bank, turn LEFT and proceed to the end of the corridor. Follow the signs to the Diabetes Center. Turn RIGHT and walk down another hallway which leads to HEALTH SCIENCES WEST.

Directions to the Pediatric Diabetes Clinic:

Once you arrive at the Parnassus Campus, proceed to the main entrance of the AMBULATORY CARE CENTER at 400 PARNASSUS.  Take the elevator to the 2nd Floor.  Turn left.

Directions to the Adult Diabetes Clinic and the Diabetes Teaching Center:

Once you arrive at the Parnassus Campus, proceed to the main entrance of the AMBULATORY CARE CENTER at 400 PARNASSUS.  Take the elevator to the 5th Floor.  Turn left.
